Each person has their own unique character, influenced by where they were born, and the context they grew up and live in. These factors, in turn, can have a strong influence on how they behave in their personal and professional lives.
It is therefore extremely important to be aware of one’s character traits in order to more effectively contribute to and more integrate into one's professional life.
During our Bootcamps with Force N, young people are invited to creatively represent their ideal collaborator. In teams, they are guided to take a step back and look at their own range of experiences to identify the skills needed for a collaborator. Amongst the key skills identified were: punctuality, the courage to speak up, good time management, going beyond the tasks requested, teamwork and asking for feedback. Participants understood that soft skills are the lifeblood of every organisation, and by putting them into practice makes for a better working environment, enabling each individual to develop and express their own unique talents.
The Ideal Collaborator exercise is very rich in content and learning, as it demonstrates through group work in a visual way the importance of soft skills. During the presentations of their group work, participants showed that developing and applying cross-functional soft skills are non-negotiable and essential to the wellbeing of both employees and the overall performance of a company. It was enriching for me on both a personal and professional level, reinforcing my conviction that each person has many gifts, and that if we put all our gifts together collectively, we can bring about change needed for humanity to evolve in a positive direction.

My lasting impressions
L’exercice du collaborateur parfait de par sa richesse et de ses multiples fonctions, a attiré mon attention sur l’indispensabilité des soft skills. Les affiches des apprenants sont d’une richesse extrême et nous conscientisent sur le fait que les compétences transversales ne sont plus optionnelles mais sont essentielles au bien-être de nos collaborateurs et à la performance de notre entreprise. En fin de journée les différentes réactions des participants témoignaient leur satisfaction et l’étude de leur collage d’image a dévoilé qu’ils ont fait bon usage de leurs ressources les plus profondes. Cet exercice m’a véritablement enrichi et a renforcé ma conviction que chaque personne consciente de sa richesse intrinsèque peut faire évoluer sa communauté, son entreprise, l’humanité.
